Diaphragm ID needed.
Opened up one of my 806 from my HeathKit AS101's today. It has an aluminum diaphragm and has the numbers 391527 ink stamped on the aluminum ring. Tried looking it up at GPA site but couldn't find it. Any idea?

and while you're in there punch a hole in the dust cover so you can pull the 12ga speaker cable through and solder it directly to the voice coil.

Probably made in the 27th week of 1965, with a part number of 20275, if original to the Heath.

Re: Diaphragm ID needed.
These were built in 1971 or 72. I did pull the diaphragms and that was printed on the aluminum ring that mates with the driver. No other set of numbers. They look like Altec diaphragms as they have the same design in the aluminum surrounding the dome, the area that flexes, unlike the aftermarket ones on ebay.
